Tracy-40 Years Old

Your Story
My name is Tracy, I am a 40 year old mother of 4. Last Wed. 11/4/10, at my annual gyn appointment dr. discovered a lump in my breast. I am an ultrasound tech so my girlfriend (also a tech) and went to the hospital and took a peek. What we saw alarmed her so much she had to put the pen down. We look at his everyday so we knew exactaly what i was facing. The next day I had an "official" mammo and sono and then a "stat" stereo tactic bx. On Mon. 11/8/10 @ 6:00 p.m. My surgeon diagnosed me with Invasive ductal carcinoma w/ suspicion of lymph node involvement. I am writing this on the eve of my bilateral mastectomy w/axillary excision. I am at total peace, because I know that the God i serve has a plan and a purpose for my life that surpasses all understanding. I have asked to be a vessel that he pours into so that i may pour onto others. I will be obedient and I pray that I will touch lives and lead the lost in this process. Thank you Father for your love and grace.
